even before its happened.

I’m still trying to figure this one out as well. But it’s true.

Maybe because then we won’t be so affected? By every sight, and every touch. At the back of our minds with every decision we make.

Touche sister, touche.

  • veenah: i hope amma doesn't kill me man, with all the books I'm bringing back
  • suba: i hope she doesn't too. i'd be losing a slave.

i'ma take you there, i'ma take you there

Now, I’ve never been a major fan of Chris Brown’s Forever. I’ve always liked it, especially when it came out in the clubs, but I don’t think I ever sat down and listened to it and heard the lyrics.

But then I watched The Office’s spoof of the now infamous JK Wedding Entrance where they used the song, & by George I’ve fallen in love with the song.

(have you guys watched The Office episode? Its where Jim & Pam finally get married and you should watch it even if you aren’t a fan of the show. It’s the sweetest scene, even with everything going on)

Anyway, I was reliving these videos tonight & googling the lyrics for the song

We can be two rebels,

Breakin’ the rules,

Me and you, You and I

Yeah, and I can just imagine the moment in my life when this song would be the perfect background song.

Meeting someone in this instance, completely randomly, and feeling like you’ve exchanged a part of yourself.

You know those moments? Of course, I’ve never experienced them, but I believe in them. We see it in the movies all the time, or read about them on those MLIA/FML type of websites. Meeting someone on the train, or in the grocery store or in a small little cafe tucked away in the corner.

Maybe we’ll only exchange glances, or a smile. Maybe even a few words. But in that moment when our eyes lock, I’ll feel as though he and I were complete. And then we’d part ways and never meet ever again, and only the memory of that one eye contact remains.

Yeah. I’m banking on that to happen to me one day. And when that does? I think I’ll have Forever stuck in my head for weeks :D

I remember one of the first things I noticed in Melbourne was the sneakers thrown on the power lines in this way.
